We invite you to the first out of three student workshops, which are planned as part of “ME4CataLOgue (Mechanical Engineering for Catalogue) - Croatian Catalogue of knowledge, skills and competences for Mechanical Engineering studies (Bachelor, Master and Doctoral study programmes) based on learning outcomes”. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
The first workshop will be motivational in order to inform students about the project and create interest among students and other stakeholders to become actively involved in the project. The workshops will be led by experts in human resource development.
The workshop will be held on 27 January 2014, starting at 9:00 am, at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty in Slavonski Brod, Trg Ivane - Brlić Mažuranić (classroom 202). The aim of the workshop is to encourage and motivate interested students to actively participate in the following activities (e.g. influence the development of qualifications standard through student representatives in the Steering Committee, organizing and participating in student forums, seminars, participation in international professional conference in the framework of the project, participation in the events of presenting the objectives, the expected and actual results of the project, etc.). The topics of the first workshop include the development of interpersonal skills (leadership and motivation, communication, listening, interpersonal relations, negotiation, ethics), the skills of critical and creative thinking (creative thinking, problem solving, identifying opportunities) and practical skills (goal setting, planning and outcomes of organizing, decision-making).
